We feel that Mr. Mazzareillo's background and work ethic will be a great help to our cause. We are all looking forward to working with Michael.   12/14/2006-- Carlie's Crusade Receives 501(c)(3) Final IRS Approval The Department of The Treasury Internal Revenue Service has sent the following to us: " We are pleased to inform you that upon review of your application for tax exempt status we have determined that you are exempt from Federal income tax under secition 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to you are dedeuctible under section 170 of the Code. You are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055,2106 or 2522 of the code." We are now an official 501(c)(3) Foundation.   12/01/06 Three board members and one instructor receive Instructor certification. Three board members and one new instructor of The Carlie's Crusade Foundation received their Instructor Certificate upon completion of the Rape Awareness Program administered by the American Women's Self Defense Association and Modern Warrior. The 8 hour instructor course will allow the team to further their cause in instructing young and old alike on how not to be a target and how to make the attacker the victim. Upon the completion of the course Ms. Danika Albert has been invited to join the team as an instructor. We all welcome Danika as part of the team.   11/22/2006 -- Board of Directors Elect New Board Members A meeting of the board of The Carlie's Crusade Foundation was called and held on November 14 , 2006 to add two new board members of the Carlie's Crusade Foundation. The board is honored to have added Carlie's Paternal Grandmother Andrea Brucia and Internet Forensic Specialist Robert Clydesdale to the board.   11/16/06 Carlie's Crusade Foundation Donates To J. Watson Bailey Junior High The Carlie's Crusade foundation made a monetary donation to J. Watson Bailey Junior High's " bagel day" fund raising efforts. It appears that each year the J. Watson Bailey Junior High raises funds for local families that need help in some way on the Thanksgiving Holiday Season. The Carlie's Crusade Foundation was honored to be part of the schools fund raising efforts. What a great bunch of NEW friends we have made at this school. Good luck at your efforts to save the children.   11/14/06 Carlie's Crusade Foundation Presents New Internet Safety Program To Junior High In Kingston, New York. The Carlie's Crusade Foundation in Coordination with the administration at The J. Watson Bailey Junior High School brought their Internet Safety and Self Preservation Programs to the entire population at their school. Over 1000 students were educated on the positives and negatives of the Internet as well as basic personal preservation skills. We spent three day's in your school and each day you made us welcome.   11/09/06 -- Carlie's Crusade Foundation Donates To Alpah Beta Gamma Carlie's Crusade Foundation makes a donation to Dutchess County Community College Alpha Beta Gamma to support their annual effort to help the Grace Smith House. Every year Alpha Beta Gamma supports funding efforts to help provide families supported by the Grace Smith House with Thanksgiving Holiday Blessings.
